True Alas... sad
Norton, PCTools, Quaterdeck, PowerQuest: are they only buying on order to get rid of competition? How many really new gadgets have we got, next to the fantastic product activation? Having the same program on my laptop as my PC made that I could work while travelling... I still have Norton SystemWorks, but this year is the last: absolutely the worst support next to one of our local cable companies. Several tools I liked are gone now, thanks to Symantec. And thanks to Symantecs SystemWorks gone haywire, I had to reinstall my laptop twice, and my desktop six times this year. It started each time with a small message telling me there was a problem, and I had to uninstall and reinstall Norton AntiVirus... Symantec/Veritas? Time aagin to find other software, this time for backing up my data... I have absolutely no faith anymore in this company... sad
