Yes, flawed is right
"How can one OS with holes in it be safer than another OS with holes in it? A boat with 10 holes in the hull isn't any safer than one with 50 holes."

When 10 holes are the size of pinholes, and the 50 holes are the size of soccer balls! Unless someone has worked with *NIX (not just school experience), it is hard to impress upon them the security inherrent in the system.
