Current technology yes...shortly after implementation, no...
It would not be long before they would develop some bastardized version of OCR software to read the numbers. Just like my OmniPage 14 can read and do a decent job of translating a relatively crappy fax image...so to would they be able to foil this plan. Maybe not today...but tomorrow.
