htotten, you "love" US merchants as G.W. Bush ...
Then why do merchants have to spend extra time and money to call the same bank to verify the credit card that belongs to the same bank? Note: the same bank has to process this credit card.

Why do the banks punish the merchants for client?s info the merchants do not possess? Note: only the banks have access to client? info, but not the merchant.

Why should merchants have to ask the same bank to verify client? info if the bank SHOULD DO THIS ANYWAY?

Why do the banks punish merchants for the bank?s faults?

Merchants do not even come close to the power the banks have to verify client?s info, therefore, logically, banks, not the merchants must be responsible for fraud.

The problem is the Bush World and like has only one logic ? a few selected guys (corporations) have to rip off everybody they can. That?s why the laws are written not for Americans but super corporations.

So far, each fraud brings extra profits to the banks FOR THE EXPENSE OF MERCHANTS and that?s why banks do nothing to prevent fraud ? this is not in theirs financial interest.
