If your attitude pervades the industry, then NOW I know why a lot of people suspect that security software outfits like McAfee and Symantec are CREATING the viruses their software is REMOVING. It's probably true.

Patches are like janitorial work: Something you don't LIKE to do but you NEED to do if you want to keep the place from starting to stink.

The less time I spend patching, the more time I can spend researching new technology and methods to make the IT structure work better for my clients. I'm sorry your time is worth so little to you.
