What it is today, is a trash heap that has
more and more users, from individuals to whole corporations to universities, etc., scrambling to keep their systems from being overran with viruses, trojans, spayware and who knows what else. So yes, your right. Microsoft has been responsible for what the Web is today. And they have not set so many standards for the Internet. And those they have set are faltering. In fact, the server market, especially those providing Web services, is where they are losing the most ground. When ease of use means that malware programmers find it easy to use your PC, that's a bad thing.
