Yes, and relacement costs went thru the roof
So our "wise"(?) company abandoned them. Senior execs would get replacement cards twice a month on average. They always had a business reason why theu could not be bothered looking for their misplaced smart card. Once the execs took advantange of the situation the administrative staff started to "lose" their cards on a monthly basis. I honestly think most just forgot their card on a given day and then reported the card as lost in order to save face. Our company is abandoning the smart card since the replacement costs are preceived as a higher cost then the value of security -- how's that for a rational response? ROTFLMAO
