Once Again Microsloth Tries To Rule The World
Considering that until Server 2003 the guest password was totally blank and anyone could access the system, I guess it's time they did something about passwords....

But what actually can you do, you can't "force" people to give good passwords, that's something only enforceable at the system administrator level and the policies have to be set by them....

People are still choosing ridiculous passwords or writing them down and sticking them under the keyboard...

We have smart cards with a pin here at work, and I have already proposed using fingerprint ID/smart card authentication to totally do away with passwords.

Hope it catches on.
