I'd take it a step further and say that NO
legitimate website should use popups/unders/overs
whatever! As for allowing scripting to run only
on "trusted sites"...well, I can't speak for Win
XP (eXploding Pc ??) but for Win95 w/IE5.01SP2
or Opera 5.12, I do the vast majority of my web
browsing with scripting turned OFF. With IE I
have my preferences to ALWAYS prompt the user
before running scripts, regardless of the site.
Scripting isn't all that necessary anyhow...it's
been shown to be risky and insecure. Alternative
navigation of a web site should always be offered.
But, that's just my 2 cents!
