So just never trust redirections from untrusted sites
If you never trust redirections to login-secure sites from non-commercial websites you do not trust then this will not be an issue.

I always open a new window and type in the address I need if a tool, website, etc needs me to check paypall, ebay, or similar confidential sites. Such a tactic also gets rid of the problem of a bogus phishing webpage too.
