Precisely why they deserve to be bankrupted. Hey, if your car stalls in the middle of nowhere, will whining that you know nothing about fixing a car get you anywhere? Perhaps sitting in a parked car for a few hours will give you that time for reflection that you've been longing for. Perhaps a car passing by will slam into you. No one will hold your hand in this world, and if there is some expectation that someone else is going to take care of you, then you can't complain when this person wants to rob you blind.
