It's running Linux, so the chances of a battlefield crash are minimal....can you imagine the scenario:

"Got him in my sights, preparing to fire...wait....it won't fire, I'm getting a GPF on the internal firing mechanism...the robot is targeting itself...what the???....now it's firing at our own troops!!!!......Wait a minute, I'm getting a message on the console.....Microsoft Robot has encountered a problem and has annihilated the allied force, we apologize for the inconvenience, click send to submit an error report...oh geeez....."
