Wrong is in the eye of the beholder
"It's irresponsible of Lycos to put its name to it because it lends legitimacy to [DDoS] attacks," said Linford. "You can't break into a thief's house just because he breaks into yours. We don't support this or recommend this practice. Directing traffic is part of the degradation of the internet we are trying to stop."

Spamhaus is just plain wrong here. Sometimes vigilantiism is needed to rid the neighborhood of pests. I have seen entire neighborhoods cleaned up and the bad guys ran out because the citizens took action. Same principle applies here. Netizens are doing what the spammers want them to do by responding to the spam by going to the website. Just not in the fashion they (the spammers) expected. The SOB's invited us to see their website, so the screensaver is responding for me. It is all in how one views this. Call it an autoresponder if you will.

I am installing the screensaver now.
