NonZealot is RIGHT!!!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to defend either Windows or Linux but, I am going to defend myself as a home user. Having used Windows 98 and ME for many years I recently upgraded to Windows XP Pro. First of all when installing XP as many of you should know it asks you to set up an admin account but, it also prompts the user to set up a user account which I use. I DO NOT USE THE ADMIN ACCOUNT!

Having forgone installing java weather MS or Sun I dont really care, I dont need it. It is not even a nessesary piece of software and most browsers can run just fine without it! So I am not missing anything.

Point here is this.... WHO CARES! If you like to use Windows that's cool, if you like Linux that's cool too. NO OS is free of defects or flaws. Both OS's can be exploited! Windows just happens to be easier than Linux, but for the home user Windows is easier to install than Linux but, again WHO CARES! Both OS's have thier strong points and thier week points. Who cares who uses Firfox/Mozilla or Internet Explorer browsers, if it works for you and does what its supposed to do? WHO CARES!!!

Just seems to me that alot of you just used this article to come out and attack both OS's AS USUAL! From what I've been reading here many of you need to get away from from your computers and find something more constuctive to do with your time.
