Don't ya just love it...
The Microsoft Information Minister gets on line and says "No security holes, don't worry, the exploits are years away" and "the security researcer is just grandstanding to make a name for themselves", etc., etc., etc. and then "We're looking into it, though no security problem exists" and then, guess what? "Oh, there's a security breach that needs to be patched".

And this happens over and over again. Always, first denial, then supposed need to research in spite of denial and then finally release of the patch.

(MIM), Who are you trying to snow? I don't think that the various evil people out there are buying it, the users are buying it less and less. Must just be Wall Street and the stockholders and a very LAME attempt at preventing their panic.
