Not really...
The vast majority used only the OS, office suite, browser, and Notes client.

The office suite actually only required a few patches. But those two OS's with the welded-on browser. Yikes. Patch after patch after patch...

I did however forget they did one patch and one upgrade to the Notes client in three years.

To their credit, especially considering the low support staff to end user ratio, they now do (or did, when I left) a pretty decent job at security.

They higher ups in IT finally got their act together after the Bureau of Indian Affairs database hacking fiasco/lawsuit.
