MS = a wasting degenerative affliction
Putting all your eggs in one basket is especially bad if your
basket is full of holes.

Design flaws inherent to Microsoft products, especially the
inclusion of applications into the operating system, are
what makes the Windows system so vulnerable.

Think about it, Microsoft Windows is the only operating
system that has this "innovative" feature. The only reason
that Redmond pursues this development model is to extend
their monopoly by locking out competitors while locking in
their users.

Longhorn takes this corporate policy to new levels, with it's
release, the walled garden that is Windows will become a
concentration camp for those that choose to enter.

A "monoculture" based on Unix and it's multiple variants
(Open BSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD, AIX, Linux, OSX and others)
would be quite secure.

It's just a matter of picking a better basket to put your eggs
in. Choose your next operating system wisely.
