I always thought the idea of a browser based app was that it could run on anything. The problem with MS apps is they expect a fat client running a recent version of Windows.

A lot of Internet Cafes run Macs. In Asia, you'll find Linux based computers outnumber Windows machines at least 5 to one. And based on recent news stories, Windows machines will become even more scarce. Having non-MS or older MS machines trying to connect is something to you need to consider when planning remote access projects.

Security was our most important goal when we looked for a replacement for our Exchange 5.5 servers so we selected a non-MS system. It has exceeded all the project goals and we are very happy with it.

Sometimes it's better to have a few less features and a lot more security.
