There might be.
If you will recall that when 2000 was released kerberos was included. Shortly afterwards it was discovered that the MS implementation didn't exactly follow standards. MS had "enhanced" it. Is that still the case? Will a MS PC with kerberos running talk to another OS with kerberos running? I dunno.
