OWA and mobility
In my company, we use OWA for our employees to access while on the road. Sometimes, they have to log in at weird places like the library or an airport kiosk and there is no way to make sure Kerberos is active on all the PCs everywhere they might try to access the system.

Instead of requiring a hole to close, why not just make Kerberos one of those things that HAS to run on all PCs, period? That way, there is no need for the manual checks and changes. That would make sure the security was on all the time.
