Another shining example
of why the Open Source modular approach is better. Because of it's monolithic design and spaghetti tangled coding, Microsoft will NEVER be able to match Open Source for patch speed.

Yes, all patches have to be tested, but the modular model allows for faster and easier testing in that only segements need be tested versus and entire system, inclusive to applications.

In one way I hope they get things right with Longhorn, just so my bandwidth will stop being sucked up by all the dang Windows trojans and virus's out there!
