Some say they listen to too many ppl
and wind up putting in features that '90%' of ppl don't use or something of the like. Then to keep the spaghetti code bound and licensing agreements intact so as to not spawn more lawsuits, they lock down this that and the other, unable or unwilling to be modular and on-the-fly like some OSS distros that get press.
