Biggest flaw is Microsoft.
Not only is IE seriously and dangerously flawed, but since it is an intergral part of Windows will never
be fixed. How is it that Microsoft thinks it so much better to just keep adding patches to fix that product? With the amount of work involved in the constant research for more patches the cost involved so far must have far exceeded the amount to have developed a totally new browser system, plus one patch to plug the hole in all Windows systems where IE used to reside. A new browser without such an intertwined relationship to the OS would be a blessing as well as a big improvement. Never since the old Windows for Workgroups 3.11 has Microsoft really made a good IE browser or any real improvements over 3.11. Fancy? Yep. Good? Nope.

Microsoft had best get a hold on some realities or may one day find themself far behind someone else. I liken it to the old race between a six cylinder car and a V-8. When the six gets into high gear, the V-8 tries to get just a bit more out of second gear. No second gear push will ever beat the high gear. Isn't Microsoft now just trying to get that extra second gear push while others are getting into high?
