Sue yourself, Dude
That is about the second most Un-American idea I have ever heard. Remember the First Amendment to the Constitution? The entity that reported the bug to the world, alerted everyone that Internet Explorer has a dangerous flaw -that entity has no involvement in the commission of a crime.

Considering that there are workarounds (install Win XP Sp2, don't use Internet Explorer) getting this information out to everyone makes everyone aware, and gives us choices for action.

Would you prefer that your gas tank was empty before the gauge reported anything?
