Good at debating bad at giving proof
I said your response was also your opinion becuase you give only your opinion. The dollar damage, like I said, that is a fact by default but nothing in your post was based on any real facts, just your opinion. Then you ramble on in your response, to me, spewing more "facts". All I'm saying is don't post what you think you know as facts just because it is general concensous. I don't need to disprove anything because you have yet to prove anything of any substance. To say Linux and Macs are more secure because it takes more knowledge to exploit them may or may not be a fact (it would depend the person writing the hack) but, it's not an argument on their improved security. To say IE has more issues(barring ActiveX as you said) than other browsers is not a fact, at this point it is an unknown as all other browsers release security patches or incorporate them into their next release...that's a fact that anyone can easily lookup on any vendor's site. As for Linux being more secure that's also misleading and not a fact. Redhat and Debian both released a large amount a security updates through the past couple of months so what are you basing your "facts" on. Calling it a fact doesn't make it so. So you ask me to disprove your "facts". Give me some to disprove first. Saying MS has more security issues is, believe it or not, an unkown and not a fact. Saying they had a lot of previous issues is a fact. Again, the only things that need to be disproved are things that have first been proven. I've already agreed about the market share to damage amount relationship in my previous post so that is a mute point.
