Are you using Enterprise Edition?
I do not like the way Symantec prioritises their clients. I should be happy because I use Enterprize and they give me excellent support.

I do have some friends who have home (personal, whatever) edition and the product really sucks in comparison. Furthermore, I hear the support sucks too. I never had support issues with them. Their was this one time recently that I got infected with a virus. THe bloodhound caught it as a possible infection but could not clean it.

I calle dsymantec who had me send them the file. They walked me through getting rid of it. THey called me back on what I needed to do to keep it off temporarily. They calle dme back to let me know they have an update to deal with it. The update found and removed it from another server. They thanked me and asked if their is anything else they could help me with.

Turns out, I was one of the first to be infected with a new variant of an old virus. My infection helped them to get a jump on it and make a fix in time to protect everyone else. They treated me like a king.

I have heard only one other such story first hand and a few through the grapevine but in all cases, first to infection gets the royal treatment.

THey usually treat me well otherwise but like I said, Enterprize edition. I do not know one Home/personal edition owner who had a good experience with Symantec.
