Interesting? U Mean LAME.
"and it does far more than any other systems out there without having to 'get under the hood'."

Another moron. Or, another paid Microsoft shill.

Please. Windows is nothing but c-r-a-p and never will be anything but c-r-a-p.

Let's see, be diligent with "UPDATE, AV, FIRWALLS (sic)". I use an alternate O/S, that while I have those things, I don't have to be "diligent" at all for fear my system will go belly-up at any given moment.

Shall we add to that Ad-Aware, Spybot, Office Updates, updates to all other MS and other apps that might possibly use their own copy of a badly designed MS dll (like recent GUI hack)?

I recently spent a good day running MS updates (OS and Office) on the four computers I use at work, and OF COURSE, dealing with the lame-ass updates that FAILED ON INSTALL FOR NO APPARENT REASON WHATSOEVER (and give you absolutely NO hint why - instead offering you a basket of possible alternatives to trial-and-error your way through at the expense of hours of your time). Finally determined that suggested updates would only work if I did them ONE AT A TIME. My Gosh, can you get any lamer than the above? Let's see: Update program encounters a problem that causes it to fail. Do you THINK that the update program could report on what the FREAKING problem is? Nawh! Just let the user trial-and-error their way through some lame-ass list of possible solutions that may not even have anything remotely to do with the issue whatsoever. That's respecting your user's time! Typical MS.

FIVE THINGS THAT SUCK ABOUT WINDOWS:

- Screen/Display Handling
- Process control (internal)
- Process control (external)
- Virtual Memory (Swap File) handling
- Disk I/O System

This is a company that cannot even write a simple routine to simply read a bit pattern out of a file, apply some mathematics to it, and display pixels on a screen without opening up the possibility of a hack that can compromise the computer. Incredible.

Get a clue.
