Maybe an analogy,
even though I'm not good at them.

You tell your 2 kids to do their chores, you tell them if they do there will be a reward, if they don't there will be punishment, one does and the other doesn't. You must be true to your word, and you punish one and reward the other.

Don't you think that the one that you punished will be upset with you, and the one that was rewarded will think you're great? And of course you love them equally and want them both to be rewarded, but you can't go back on your word.

Just like you said, God knows ALL and he has laid the foundation and spoken the words. He is true and will do what he has said, period.

All things are of God, his rules, his to do with as he pleases. We can argue or disagree with him til we're blue in the face but it won't change a thing. Remember that God's way of thinking is mostly beyond our grasp, but he does have a plan and that is where faith comes in. You either have it or you don't, you either believe him or not.

But that is my belief and all we as christians can do is spread the word, we can't give people wisdom or make them accept it. Jesus said that "no man comes to the father but by me." In other words accept Jesus' sacrifice and be with him eternally or reject him and spend eternity in hell, your choice.

I'm not condemning anyone, just repeating God's word, so don't hate the messenger if you don't like the message. And if you don't like or believe the message then you should be happy with your choice and let others be happy with their choice.

It is a gift from God, it is there for the taking. If you don't believe God has authority over you then you should have nothing to fear, especially from christians.

Like I've said, to each his own, I won't hate anyone for their choice but I will point out that I believe that there is a better choice and tell anyone who is willing to listen.

Speaking of which, you are listening quite a bit, is some rubbing off on you?

I hope so!
