Ah butt don't forget Christmas....

The date is the pagan traditional Winter Soltace, and many of the
pagan traditions like the tree still remain.

As for Halloween I don't understand your problems with it? After
all while it does have it's roots in Pagan tradition no pagan god
or gods plays a part or mentioned in todays Halloween tradition.
Nothing of a faith is mentioned. And the basis of the tradition is
only to fight evil in a very clever and well amusing fashion. Sort
of like Monty Pythons "Confuse a Cat" skit. Confuse the evil
demons and devils and in essence send them away.

There seems at least to me that there is NOTHING to do with a
faithi in Halloween, nor a god. No prayers, no god or gods, no
doctrine or beliefs being preached or sold...it seems well secular
to me.

Just like a lot of people today who celebrate christmas don't
have a pagan view or faith. Many consider themselves either
Christians or Roman Catholices or any number of other christian
off shoots. Yet it is NOT JS"s birthday, and it is celebrated on
the Winter Solstace, and many of the Pagan traditions are still
practiced in this celebration. Even more to the point many
people today who celebrate Christmans are NOT believers like
myself. Heck give me a day off for "Satan Day" and I'll TAKE IT:)

So I don't get you point...If you can explain it further please do..I
do want to understand, People are my hobby:)

As for praying in school. As long as those who choose NOT to
do so are protected and reespected, and those who choose to
pray to different Gods are respected and tolerated and those
who even choose to pray to Satan are allowed to and protected
then I'm all for it. To me its an "All or NOTHING" type deal. You
open pandora's box (hee hee hee) and it all comes with it. If you
and yours are willing to allow that...then so am I.

Yes even Pagan Gods....nobody gets left out:)
