"Just because I admit that Windows has far to many security problems, that by no means *nix based OSs have none."

I would counter that *nix DO HAVE NONE. I dare anyone to prove to me that *nix can catch a virus (I know it can't)! Every single security "issue" with *nix involves a human actually touching a box. Most of the *nix issues are of elevated privaledges - which means that you need an account in the first place. *nix BY DESIGN is much more secure than Windoze.
