As we discussed in posts the other day this is not true, MS
is comparatively poorer with its security model than
anything else. And here it is an article about corporate
desktops.

Windows machine. I just pointed out how little it really
costs to provide adequate desktop protection"

No you didn't, you pointed out it costs $3 per year per seat
for a software license. What about the costs of support,
installation, compatibility problems, keeping the software
up-to-date? I believe you'll find it is costing significantly
more than $3.

In addition how do you know it is catching all spyware and
malware on your computer? What is the cost of that?
