I wasn't the one to compare Mac OS X with windows, you
were!

Does Mac OS X have identified security vulnerabilities that
require patching - YES.

Does Apple's default install of services turned off and a
active firewall put it ahead of security windows pre-SP2 -
YES.

Does the smaller installed base of Mac OS X reduce the
likely spread of any virus attacking that platform - YES.

Does the effective user permissions model underpinning
Mac OS X protect the OS to a level far better than windows
- YES.

Gee your right, your initial post comparing windows and
Mac OS X is even more bizarre now I've had time to think
about it:-)
