I must have misunderstood your point
From your post we see that for the whole of 2004 the Mac
has had 2 security news items (source unknown).

1 was a malicious trojan disguised as an mp3 that wouldn't
execute in iTunes. The other was the very serious "Mac OS
X URI handler allows for arbitrary code execution" for which
no example existed in the wild.

"Mac and Security - it's not so bad as Windows, but ..."

Oh no, Mac users are under attack like or windows
cousins;-)
