I applaud Macs and Linux
for having very rare occurrences of virus and worms, and in part because of the experience and practices of its knowledgeable users.

With that said, due to the ongoing issues that a large number of users viral experiences with their Windows bases computing (though a large number do prep and guard their systems better than others), you'll see a growing membership to the Mac and Linux community. As a caution, you'll also see that rare breed of spammer/virus hijacker attempting to crack the candy coating on the Apple and plying wares as applications while really being trojans. Maybe shooting into a barrel of fish isn't as sporting as the true coders feel it can be. Prestige may come from the code vs the numbers.
