(1) I think the comment is very relevant.
Balmer says Linux is nowhere in the marketplace (even Gartner said that Linux had outgrown Apple, and forget about anything else in the datacentre).
Balmer also says that Windows has less issues, which people always "prove" by comparing the thousands of packages you get in an average distro with Windows which comes with hardly any packages. Not a fair comparison. A comparison that in fact could be called BS.

(2) since no-one needs to buy a licence to use Linux, where exactly DO YOU THINK you would go to get a record of Linux installations. You can go get a log of everyone looking at the sky at the same time.

Apart from trying to rubbish someone elses' points (and failing), did you have a point?
