Worked on Firefox for me, but...
The second one, the refocus one, didn't at all on Konqueror (1st did).

The first one basically opens a javascript input prompt after a delay, so if you switch to another tab within that delay, your browser doesn't switch back to the original tab when it does show the delayed javascript input prompt. Don't think it is something to get too worked up about, for now, I recommend not mixing up trusted/important and untrusted/normal sites in the same window under multiple tabs; better than disabling the entire javascript.

The second one seems to continuously refocus the cursor somewhere else, like an input box. Worked for Firefox, but not Konqueror. The problem: if you went to a new tab, your focus is still being redirected to the input box although the tab doesn't refocus. A bit of a problem, and it is the browser's fault, but I am more worried about the user than the browser on this one.

You can see that your text doesn't show up where you type cause the focus is being redirected. Unfortunately, too many people never seem to understand that you need to tell the computer where to focus and they rarely check if the login or password is going in the right spot until after they have finished typing it. So, even if the browser is fixed, the sudo-flaw will still exist due to users. I would be more worried about them than this.

Again, instead of shutting down javascript, you can just keep your trusted (bank, bills...) sites in separate windows, instead of tabs, from your untrusted ones (porn, games... zdnet wink ).
