Only waste vote is vote that isn't cast
If you cast a vote for party that will not get elected it still shows as vote for niether of the two major parties. While not voting shows nothing at all. Even submitting a vote for no one is better than not voting.

It drives me crazy to see people vote for who they think can win instead of voting for those they really want to. That's pointless and defeats the whole democratic process.
