Yes but what "IF" the bill comes from his party

and the minority party needed to get the compromise bill
passed? Would the President through the whole thing into chaos
and give the other side an opening with the minority party?

Plus what if the terms of this minoirty party includes a cabinet
seat or three on the Presidents cabinet?

Then having a former cabinet member running for president on
the Libertarian ballot would looke that much more impressive.
That and the fact that the Libertarians can take credit for their
part in any Bills passed that the people find to their liking. It
would instantly give any minority part some for of clout.
