I agree. Seven years for cruelty to a man's cat...
five years for raping his wife. If I had a perpensity to both these crimes, you know which line I'd be in.

As it stands, I don't have any such perpensity but it makes you wonder where our value system is going when other animal lovers think that a cat's comfort is more valuable than a woman's dignity.
