So in OTHER WORDS...ITGUY04 had a bad experience with Dell..
You should really NEVER solely go on what online folks tell you too, ESPECIALLY a forum like this...remember all you need to post here is to create an ID...its not like a trade-sponsored forum where you have to go through an application process and meet professional standards to be a member.

Personally, I never had a bad experience with Dell Desktops, but they are cheaply made. Do some solid research though...Linux is widely available on desktops now, you just need to know where to look.
