What about USB mice/keyboards?
Most mice you buy these days are USB. While they WILL work as PS/2 mice, they are quite often choppy at best at the slower transfer rate. Your simple method of disabling USB also disables these very useful input devices!

Personally, I don't see the problem with USB devices. As has been stated many times over, if someone really wants your sensitive data, they will get it, with or without USB. Killing USB is like closing 1 door and leaving the other 99 wide open. What's the point?
