Much Ado about Nothing
Nobody seems to have done much digging (i.e looking at the info on the EasyNews Website.
Basically, all they have described is that someone has tacked an exploit onto their script for setting up IRC FTP servers on exploitable machines. Part of the scripts is the installation of RemoteAdmin (renamed as r_server).
These scripts have been around forever and the whole thing is nothing more than little script kiddies playing with new toys.

***NOTE**** I am NOT saying that the vulnerability is not being exploited. Nor am I saying that this lessens the potential of the vulnerability. I AM saying that this is article and the EasyNews articles ar more hype than substance and really do nothing more than spread fear.
