- no_axe, you're becoming lame now
-
You couldn't post anymore worthless rants in the other article, and thanks to zdnets faulty new site, no one else could after reading your BS either. Apparently you are either becoming super duper troll extroirdinaire or you're tottally clueless. I know the latter part is somewhat untrue, so I have to go for the troll part. You have to know, or at least be clued in enough to know that the internet runs on a real mail server, not some virus prone trash named exchange. Exchange has it's place, yes, it's only inside corporations, and the ones who can afford it. It will NEVER take over, i repeat so you understand, NEVER take the reigns from sendmail, procmail, qmail etc which run on open standards, and *nix(see *bsd also) systems. They run on these systems simply because, for 1, they are secure and not as prone to exploitation(notice i said NOT AS PRONE), and 2, they simply work, with a hell of alot less overhead than windows and it's bloat(a server has no need for WMP, IE, crappy wizards,
, etc).
Why would something that bases it's use on systems that can actually consider themselves servers want to allow a company who copyrights something(in which they are using someone elses code and trying to copyright the whole thing, lame) partially with someone elses property, see SPF and Mr. Wong, and then expect companies who really do not care to use MS products, nor need to since their real work servers run *nix or *bsd want to license this from them, even if for free? There is no need for them to use a closed source, copyrighted, program for something that does nearly the same thing, and better i might add.
Here's a clue for you, considering in your trolling you don't seem to show any evidence other than your own crazy opinions. People do NOT wish to have everything owned by one group. MS did NOT create the internet, they did NOT create email, they did NOT create the original GUI, THEY DO NOT WANT STANDARDS EVERYONE CAN USE, they want what they can control, and people who work in the tech field will not go for this. Unlike you and a few others, you know who you are, you can be controlled by MS, we see the difference, you are stuck in their BS. If i made my money only with MS, i'd probably be with you, but I grew up and learned something new, so i have that much more ability to help my clients. I do not shut out other technologies, i use whats best for the job. Grow up dude, your rantings, which i used to enjoy reading are just getting pathetic now a days. - Posted by: Monkey_MCSE Posted on: 09/24/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
