Windows Update won't fix this hole, Part II
Anyone who has used Microsoft Software Development tools and depends on the GDI+ API has a problem as well. If you have installed their software, you are probably still vulnerable even with SP2 or the GDI+ update. Log in as administrator and search for gdiplus.dll and then look at the versioning.

The Microsoft tool that supposedly does this is next to useless. It does not tell you which programs are using an older version of the dll, merely kind of mentions that you have a possible problem and urges you to update those programs without telling you which ones.

Some programs that use GDI+ with vulnerable versions.

Macromedia Dreamweaver 2004 MX
Ipswitch WS FTP 8.03
Symantec Systemworks 2003
