I just can't believe you Americans are actually allowing this to happen in the "Land of the Free and the Brave" I'm a Canadian living and working in China, and even in a communist run country I don't have any intrusions into my privacy like your government is proposing to impose on it's own citizens.
It's absolutely shameful that under the pretext of security that you will be monitored like this.
I really feel sorry for the occasional air traveler who pays cash for his/her airline ticket and hotel reservation because their personal credit is not strong enough or established long enough to be able to be granted a credit card, and have to spend time explaining to someone at the airport why they paid cash.
I'm actually sorry to say that I'm quite happy that I don't have to travel to and within your country anymore.
I hope you people can wake up to what is happening to your personal freedoms that are supposed to be guaranteed to you under your country's charter.
