So what?
Yeah, 3000 people died in the WTC terrorist attack.

Well over 1000 American military members have died and almost 10,000 military members have been injured or crippled for life putting their lives on the line to fight the war on terrorism. We've spent billions destroying countries and trying to rebuild them; as well as trying to build an iron curtain around our country to keep terrorists out.

I lost neighbors on the flight that crashed into the tower.

You're not worried about the government taking these pro-active measures? Well, neither were the Jews, Gypsys and other minority groups in Germany.

That can't happen in the United States? Wrongo laser breath. It is happening precisely because of attitudes like this.

I spent 22 years in the military in the 70's and 80's when patriotism was forgotten. I didn't do it to be friggin strip searched every damn time I go on a business trip.

General John Stark said it best, "Live free or die, death is not the worst of evils."

Leave me and my family and friends alone. Stop sticking your noses into our lives with the futile intent to protect us. Take your little scared selves and stay home.

As for me, I'm going out there and living my life as freely as possible. Any damn terrorist gets in my way I'll at least do my best to take them down like the heroes on UA Flight 93 tried to do. I may die, but those terrorists won't be comign home either. And that makes me sleep a heck of a lot easier at night.
