You all act like you have somthing to Hide.

Look, I don't care what the government knows about me, because I have nothing to hide. I am doing nothing illegal and don't understand why law abiding citizens would be worried about the government taking more pro-active measures to prevent another incident like 9-11. Over 3000 people DIED!!! I remember watching the towers fall on live TV and cried at the thought of all the husbands, wives and children who lost someone so very dear to them. It seems ridiculous to me that people would cry around about the government simply trying to verify that you are who you say you are and are doing what you say you are doing. I was scheduled to be at the federal building in Oklahoma City on the day it was bombed and was, by a strange stroke of luck, unable to make it. The thought that I could be a victim of a terrorist attack, whether international or domestic, and the reality of knowing that I almost was, is enough for me to realize that having your identity referenced is small price to pay in the face of the alternative. Are you willing to give up YOUR loved ones in order to maintain the tiny bit of privacy you are loosing? Is inconveniencing a few hundred people every now and then, because of a diverted flight, worth the lives of 3000 people or the lives of your children or someone else?s?
