US Response to Terrorism

Not being American, it is sometimes difficult to understand the Phsyche of Americans. Until 911 (that's so very American as to many of us Europeans it is not quite understandable.. 119 ?)
Whilst the Terrorists used the "weakness" of Trust to do their dastardly deal, they accomplished far more than they hoped for by removing ALL Trust between peoples. America's response, then, and now, has been that of a 900 pound Gorilla. Everybody is a suspected Terrorist.

Do Americans know what it is like to stand for 2 hours in a queue and miss their International connection because EVERY passenger is a prospective suspect! Every Immigration agent has to spend precious minutes (hours ?) checking on every possible non-American (just in case). So you wonder why the USA is laughed at. Instead of using "intelligence", you use brute force to try and find these monsters. If Americans used brains instead of brawns, they might be better viewed by non-americans (Allies) rather than as incompetent "processors" of information.

September 11th changed the world, we know that. Don't let them win by 'reacting'...Think, and then act.....accordingly.
