Big Brother is watching - for real now
I understand the threat, but collecting information through "commercial" sources and combining tha information is just the start. How about forcing the credit card companies to turn over your spending information.. sound crazy.. well their reasoning could be we want to track possible purchase of components to make bombs.. ok lets be a little expansive and ask, does this include the person who buys a new alarm clock. And , do you want the government tracking your movements, where you stay, how much you spend and on what, etc etc etc.. Why not just implant a tracking chip in all new borns, gee, then when they walk through an airport gate they can be scanned automatically... kinda like being pre-screened or could we say pre-judged, and as a bonus the government will know where you are at all times... This slippery slope we have started down will eventually remove all of our rights... and we will have given them up voluntarily... hey didnt someone in a foreign country say we would do just this..
