YOu really don't know jack about Unix, Linux or BSD, do you?
Samba runs on any Unix like OS, be it Solaris (on SPArc or x86), xBSD (be it on x86, PowerPC, MIPS, etc...), Linux (be it on x86, PowePC, etc...), AIX, HP-UX, and any other flavor of Unix! Maybe if you knew how to use BSD, Linux or some other Unix like OS, you would have a clue!
